Details
To avoid non withdrawable issues in the unmoulding phase, the idea behind these tests was to create the hollow part of the piece through a sandbag made out of textile. The materials tested to create the bag where textiles made out of ceramic fibers, carbon fibers, inox threads and basalt fibers. Despite the high durability of all those materials, the carbon and basalt fibers disintegrate after the first firing.
